The stock unit features a internal hex to accept a allen wrench which can be awkward to use under the engine. The internal hex fills with dirt and need to be cleaned out before your wrench will fit, even then the fit is not that great.. Now Then, you have to remove this bolt that can become "frozen" in the engine case due to the repeated heating and cooling of the engine.
This replacement fixes the problem with a external hex design(13mm, just like KTM would use).
Just reach for you socket and ratchet!
We pay close attention to detail, around the fit up of the oil screen and it's O-ring seal gland.
